Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (July 21, 2017) - Nightly various lane closures on northbound
I-71 between McMillan and Dana avenues starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 22
through 6 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Also, nightly short-term full closures on
northbound I-71 between McMillan and Dana avenues beginning at 11 p.m.
Saturday, July 22 until 5 a.m. Friday, July 28. On Saturday, Monday and
Thursday, lane closures will begin two hours after the downtown event.
Nightly various lane
closures on southbound I-71 between Dana and McMillan avenues starting at 7
p.m. Saturday, July 22 through 6 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Also, nightly
short-term full closures on southbound I-71 between Dane and McMillan avenues
beginning at 11 p.m. Saturday, July 22 until 5 a.m. Friday, July 28. On Monday
and Friday, lane closures will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Starting Saturday, July
22, McMillan Street will be a two-way street from May Street to the northbound
I-71 on ramp.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
