Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (Friday, Aug. 25, 2017) - Various nightly lane closures on
southbound I-71 between Dana Avenue and McMillan Street beginning at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 27 through 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28.
In addition, there will
be various nightly lane closures on northbound I-71 between McMillan Street and
Dana Avenue beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28 until 6 a.m. the following day,
through Friday, Sept. 1.
Also, short-term full
closures on northbound I-71 from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 until 5 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
