Interstate 75 lane and ramp closures this week

Hamilton County (Monday, Dec. 15, 2014) – Work to accommodate the I-75 railroad bridge replacement project south of SR 562 (Norwood Lateral) will require the following closures this week:

Monday, Dec. 15 Closure of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; single lane closure on southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Tuesday, Dec. 16 Closure of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; single lane closure on southbound I-75 at 8 p.m. followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m. Also, single lane closure on northbound I-75 at 8 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Wednesday, Dec. 17 Single lane closure on north and southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 18 Closure of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; single lane closure on southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m. Also, single lane closure on northbound I-75 at 8 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19.

Friday, Dec. 19 Single lane closure on southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20.

Saturday, Dec. 20 Closure of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 SB at 9 p.m.; single lane closure on southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure at 11 p.m. Also, single lane closure on northbound I-75 at 8 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21.

All work is dependent on the weather. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers, and arrow boards and signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.​
