Interstate 75 lane closures scheduled for pavement work

Interstate 75 lane closures scheduled for pavement work

Hamilton County (Tuesday, April 26, 2016) – Pavement resurfacing requires the following lane restrictions on Interstate 75 next week:

Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5 – close the left lane of southbound I-75 from State Route 126 to SR 562 each night beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a double lane closure at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.

Traffic will be maintained and all work is weather dependent.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
