Interstate 75 lane closures
scheduled for pavement work

Oct. 21, 2015) – Resurfacing work
will require nightly lane closures on I-75 this week.
Four lane resurfacing on I-75 between the Norwood
Lateral and the Ronald Reagan interchanges will require a nightly single lane
closure on northbound I-75 beginning at 9 p.m. followed by a double lane
closure at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 through Saturday, Oct. 24, with all lanes
reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. the next day.
In addition, nightly lane closures will be in place
on north and southbound I-75 near the Norwood Lateral. Beginning at 11 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 21 and Thursday, Oct. 22, there will be various single and
double lane closures until 5 a.m. the next day. Rolling closures will also be
in effect on southbound I-75, and the ramp from State Route 562 to southbound
I-75 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day.
Traffic will be maintained and delays may be
lengthy.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and ramp closures.
To help
ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
