Interstate 75 lane closures/traffic pattern shift
scheduled next week for new ramp configuration
Hamilton County (Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017) - Various lane closures and a traffic
pattern shift on southbound I-75 are scheduled next week.
Various lane closures
are required on southbound I-75 from south of Union Center Boulevard to
the I-275 split for the relocation of an overhead sign and new ramp
configuration. Lane closures will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 until
6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12.
In addition, beginning
at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, crews will begin to shift traffic to its
permanent phase to access the new ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound I-275;
traffic will be maintained.
Lane widths remain
reduced; please expect some delays while drivers become familiar with the new
traffic pattern and ramp.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
