Interstate 75 lane and ramp closures

County (Friday,
Aug. 1, 2014) – To accommodate new
ramp construction, a ramp and lane closure will be in place on Interstate 75 at
State Route 73 tonight.
From 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 until 6 p.m. Saturday,
Aug. 2, the right lane of northbound I-75 will be closed at the State Route 73
exit.
Also at 9 p.m., the ramp from east and westbound SR
73 to northbound I-75 will be closed.
The ramp will reopen to traffic at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. Traffic will be maintained and the ramps at
SR 123 to the south and Austin Pike to the north will be open to traffic.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming ramp and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction
workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce
their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
