Interstate 75/Hopple Street project update
Hamilton County (Friday, March 3, 2017) – Work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following restrictions next week:
Monday, March 6 through Friday, March 10: Various lane closures on eastbound and westbound Hopple St. from Colerain Ave. to east of the Central Parkway connector road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be shoulder restrictions on northbound and southbound I-75 from south of the Western Hills Viaduct to I-74 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8: from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. the far right lane of northbound I-75 between the Western Hills Viaduct and Hopple St will be closed.
Also on Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. the right lane on westbound Hopple St. from the northbound I-75 exit ramp to east of the connector road will be closed.
Thursday, March 9: the right lane of I-74 eastbound between Colerain Ave. to Monmouth St. will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. from Colerain on EB74 to north of Monmouth on SB75. Also various left lane closures on northbound I-75 from north of Hopple St. to I-74 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Saturday, March 11: Various short-term closures of eastbound and westbound Hopple St. from 3 a.m. until 5 a.m. between east of the I-75 Central Parkway connector road to Dixmyth Ave. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Traffic will be maintained with local law enforcement officers and all work is dependent on weather.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
