Marshall Avenue to be Closed
Hamilton County (Friday, Aug. 9, 2013) - As work continues on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, bridge work for the proposed I-75 structure over Marshall Avenue requires closing Marshall Avenue.
Marshall Avenue will be closed between Massachusetts Avenue and Central Parkway from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 to 5 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times, and Marshall Avenue will be temporarily opened to traffic for the day on Sunday, Aug. 18.
The posted detour will be Central Parkway to Hopple Street to Colerain Avenue.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
