Hamilton County (Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013) - As work to reconstruct and improve the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange continues, opening the temporary ramp to westbound I-74 from Central Parkway has been delayed.
Closing the existing Bates Avenue ramp to westbound I-74 has been postponed until late Tuesday evening, Aug. 13, with the new temporary ramp opening by 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. The green arrow shows the existing ramp to close; the red arrow shows the temporary ramp to open.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
