Interstate 75/Hopple Street project update
 
Hamilton County (Tuesday, April 18, 2017) – Work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following restrictions this week.
 
Tuesday, April 18: Single lane closures on eastbound I-74 at the southbound I-75 split to the Monmouth Bridge overpass (mile marker 3.5) from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 19. Also, close the ramps from east and westbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75 and the Harrison Avenue off-ramp from southbound I-75. In addition, a single right lane closure on southbound I-75 from Hopple Street to just south of the Western Hills Viaduct from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
 
Wednesday, April 19: Rolling lane closures of all lanes on southbound I-75 from the I-74 split to just south of the Western Hills Viaduct from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, April 20.
 
Thursday, April 20: Single left lane closure on southbound I-75 from the I-74 split to just south of the Western Hills Viaduct from beginning at 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. Afterwards, close the ramps from eastbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75 and the Harrison Avenue off-ramp from southbound I-75 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Friday, April 21.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane and ramp closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
