Interstate
75/Hopple Street construction update
Hamilton
County
(Friday, March 13, 2015) – Work at the I-75/Hopple Street interchange
will require the following closures next week:
·
Single
right lane closure on northbound I-75 between Marshall Avenue and Hopple Street
beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, March 16, with a double right lane closure
beginning at 10 p.m. All lanes will be open by 6 a.m. the following day.
·
Closure
of the ramps from Bank Street and Harrison Avenue to northbound I-75 from 10
p.m. Monday, March 16 through 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 17.
·
Single
right lane closure on northbound I-75 between Harrison Avenue and Ezzard
Charles Drive beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, with a double right lane
closure beginning at 10 p.m. for overhead sign removal and installation. The
ramps from Ezzard Charles ad Freeman Avenue to northbound I-75 will also be
closed, beginning at 10 p.m. with all lanes open to traffic by 6 a.m. the
following day.

Closure
of the ramps from Ezzard Charles Drive and Freeman Avenue to northbound I-75,
beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, March 19, and reopening by 5 a.m. the following
day.
·
Various
side street flagging operations for material deliveries and equipment
relocations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and ramp closures. All work is weather
dependent.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
