Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project Update

Hamilton County (Friday, May 10, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project requires the following restrictions:
Monday, May 13 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 14.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone from midnight until 4 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic maintained with law enforcement officers.
Tuesday, May 14 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 15. North I-75 lane closures will start two hours after completion of the Cincinnati Reds game.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone from midnight until 4 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic maintained with law enforcement officers.
Wednesday, May 15 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday, May 16. North I-75 lane closures will start two hours after completion of the Cincinnati Reds game. 
  • Full closure of the ramp from south I-75 to Hopple from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone from midnight until 4 a.m. Thursday. Traffic maintained with law enforcement officers.
Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between Monmouth and Mitchell from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. North I-75 lane closures will start two hours after completion of the Cincinnati Reds game.
  • Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone from midnight until 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
