Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton
County (Tuesday,
January 21, 2020) - As part of the I-75/I-74 major
reconstruction project, the following restrictions will be in effect this week.
Tuesday,
January 21: Full closure of
southbound Beekman Street between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain to Elmore
to Beekman.
- Close the ramp from I-74 East to Beekman Street from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m.
Wednesday,
January 22: Full closure of southbound
Beekman Street between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10 p.m. until 5
a.m. Thursday. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain to Elmore to Beekman.
Thursday,
January 23: Full closure of
southbound Beekman Street between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain to Elmore to
Beekman.
- Various lane closures on I-75 North and South between
Mitchell Avenue and Hopple Street from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday.
Friday,
January 24: Full closure of
southbound Beekman Street between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain to Elmore
to Beekman.
- Various lane closures on I-75 North and South between
Mitchell Avenue and Hopple Street from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday.
Saturday,
January 25: Full closure of
southbound Beekman Street between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain to Elmore to Beekman.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
