County (Monday,
November 4, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
requires the following restrictions this week:
Monday,
November 4 and Tuesday, November 5: Various lane closures on I-75 North and South between Monmouth
Street and Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-75 North from Mitchell
Avenue to Monmouth Street between midnight and 4 a.m.
Wednesday,
November 6 - Various lane
closures on I-75 North and South between Monmouth Street and Mitchell Avenue
from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday, November 7.
- Short-term full closures on I-75 North from Mitchell
Avenue to Monmouth Street between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 East from Montana Avenue to
I-75 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Thursday,
November 7 - Single-lane
closure on Spring Grove Avenue between Ralston Avenue and Elmore Street from 7
p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, November 8.
- Various lane closures on I-75 North and South between
Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Single lane closure on I-74 East from Montana Avenue to
I-75 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closure on I-75 North from Mitchell
Avenue to Monmouth Street between midnight and 4 a.m.
Friday,
November 8 - Various lane closures on
I-75 North and South between Monmouth Street and Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m.
until 7 a.m. Saturday, November 9.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closure on I-75 North from Mitchell
Avenue to Monmouth Street between midnight and 4 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
