Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project

Hamilton
County (Tuesday,
November 12, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions this week:
Tuesday,
November 12: Single lane
closure on I-74 West from the I-75 North merge with I-75 South from 8 p.m.
until 6 a.m. Wednesday, November 13.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street from midnight until 4
a.m.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
Wednesday,
November 13 and Thursday, November 14 - Various lane closures on I-75 South from Mitchell Avenue
to Monmouth Street nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street nightly between midnight
and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone nightly between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Single-lane closure on I-74 West from the I-75 North
merge with I-75 South nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Friday,
November 15 - Single-lane
closure I-74 West from the I-75 North merge with I-75 South from 8 p.m. until 7
a.m. Saturday, November 16.
- Short-term full closures (15 minutes) on I-74 East and
West within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
- Short-term full closures (30 minutes) on I-75 North and
South between Mitchell Avenue and Monmouth Street between midnight and 4
a.m.
Short-term full closures will be
maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
