Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
update
Hamilton County (Thursday,
Jan. 24, 2019) - The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
requires the following restrictions:
Thursday, Jan. 24 - Various lane closures on south I-75 from Mitchell Avenue to the
I-74 split from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25. Also, short-term full
closures on north and south I-75 in this area for equipment relocation between
midnight and 4 a.m.
In addition, single
lane closure on west I-74 from the I-75 split to Montana Avenue from 8 p.m.
until 6 a.m. Friday. Also, short-term full closures on east and west I-74 in
this area for equipment relocation between midnight and 4 a.m.
Friday, Jan. 25 -
Lane closure on west I-74 from the I-75 split to Montana Avenue from 8 p.m.
until 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Also, short-term full closures on north and
south I-75 and east and west I-74 for equipment relocation between midnight and
4 a.m.
Traffic will be maintained
with law enforcement officers during short-term full closures.
Monday, Jan. 28 -
Close the ramp from south I-75 to west I-74 from 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 until
5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29. The detour uses south I-75 to Hopple to west I-74.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
