Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
update
Hamilton County (Wednesday,
March 13, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
Project requires the following restrictions this week:
Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14 - Lane closure on east I-74 from Montana Avenue to the I-75
split nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. following day. Traffic will be
maintained.
Also, close the ramp
from Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street to east I-74 and the ramp from east I-74 to
Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following
day.
Friday, March 15 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between Monmouth
Street and Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday, March 16.
Also, close the ramp
from Hopple Street to north I-75 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
