Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
update
Hamilton County (Monday,
March 18, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
Project requires the following restrictions this week:
Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19 - Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work
zone nightly between midnight and 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be
maintained with law enforcement officers.
Lane closure on north
Beekman Street from Elmore Street to Colerain Avenue nightly from 7 p.m. until
6 a.m. the following day.
Full closure of south
Beekman Street from Colerain Avenue to Elmore Street nightly from 10 p.m. until
5 a.m. the following day.
Also, full closure of
the ramp from Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street to east I-74 nightly from 10 p.m.
until 5 a.m. the following day.
In addition, on Tuesday,
March 19 - lane closure on east I-74 from Montana Avenue to the
I-75 split from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 20.
Wednesday, March 20 - Full closure of south Beekman Street from Colerain
Avenue to Elmore Street from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day.
Full closure of the
ramp from Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street to east I-74 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
the following day.
Also, short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. the
following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Thursday, March 21 - Lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell
Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Full closure of south
Beekman Street from Colerain Avenue to Elmore Street nightly from 10 p.m. until
5 a.m. the following day.
Full closure of the
ramp from Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street to east I-74 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
the following day.
Also, short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. the
following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Friday, March 22 - Full closure of south
Beekman Street from Colerain Avenue to Elmore Street nightly from 10 p.m. until
5 a.m. the following day.
Full closure of the
ramp from Colerain Avenue/Beekman Street to east I-74 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
the following day.
Also, short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone between midnight and 4 a.m. the
following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
