Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction project
update
Hamilton County (Thursday,
April 11, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions:
Thursday, April 11 - Full closure of south Beekman St. from Colerain Ave.
to Elmore St. - 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Lane closure on Elmore
St from Beekman St. to Colerain Ave. - 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.; lane closure on west
I-74 from north I-75 split to the merge with south I-75 - 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone - midnight to 4 a.m. Traffic
will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 - Full closure of south Beekman St. from Colerain Ave. to
Elmore St. nightly 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Lane closure on Elmore
St. from Beekman St. to Colerain Ave. nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the
following day.
Short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone nightly from midnight to 4 a.m.
the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16 - Lane closure on east I-74 from the Montana Ave. to the
I-74/I-75 interchange nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Lane closure on Elmore
St. from Beekman St. to Colerain Ave. nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the
following day.
Various lane closures
on south I-75 from Mitchell Ave. to Monmouth St. nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
the following day.
Short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone nightly from midnight to 4 a.m.
the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18 - Various lane closures on north and south I-75 between
Mitchell Ave. and Monmouth St. nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following
day.
Lane closure on Elmore
St. from Beekman St. to Colerain Ave. nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the
following day.
Short-term full
closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zone nightly from midnight to 4 a.m.
the following day. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work
is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
