Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton County (Friday,
July 19, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction
project requires the following restrictions:
Friday, July 19 -
Double lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from
two hours after the end of the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. Saturday, July
20.
- Short-term full closures on
I-74 and I-75 within the work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. Saturday.
Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Monday, July 22 -
Close the ramp from north I-75 to west I-74 from midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday,
July 23. The detour uses Mitchell Avenue to south I-75 to west I-74.
- Single
lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from 8
p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
- Short-term
full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the work zones between midnight and
4 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Tuesday,
July 23 and Wednesday, July 24 - Single
lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue nightly from
8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Thursday,
July 25 - Short-term full closures
on the ramp from south I-75 to west I-74 between midnight and 4 a.m. Friday,
July 26.
- Single lane closure on north I-75 from Monmouth Street
to Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be maintained
with law enforcement officers.
Friday,
July 26 - Single lane closure on
north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from two hours after the end
of the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. Saturday, July 27.
- Short-term full closures on I-74 and I-75 within the
work zones between midnight and 4 a.m. Saturday. Traffic will be
maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
