Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project Update

Hamilton County (Monday, Dec. 17, 2018) - The first stage of construction on the I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project includes pavement resurfacing, bridge deck patching, and drainage improvements on west I-74 from I-75 to Beekman Street.
Monday, Dec. 17:
  • Close the ramp from south I-75 to west I-74 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. The detour uses south I-75 to Hopple Street to north I-75.
  • Various lane closures on south I-75 from Mitchell Avenue to Monmouth Street and on north I-75 from Monmouth Street to Mitchell Avenue from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
  • Close the ramp from east I-74 to north I-75 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.  The detour uses south I-75 to Western/Liberty (Exit 2A) to Findlay Street to Winchell Avenue to north I-75.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. In addition, arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
