Interstate 75/Hopple Street project update
 
Hamilton County (Tuesday, May 9, 2017) – The following restrictions will be in place for signal work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project:
 
Wednesday, May 10 -
o   Right lane closure on eastbound Hopple Street from Colerain Avenue to the ramp from northbound I-75 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Also, right lane closure on southbound Connector Road from Hopple Street to Central Parkway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
Friday, May 12 – Saturday, May 13 -
o   Hopple Street between Colerain Avenue and the Connector Road will closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. The detour uses Colerain Avenue, Marshall Avenue, Central Parkway and the Connector Road The following ramps will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday:
§  Northbound I-75 to Hopple Street,
§  Hopple Street to northbound I-75 and westbound I-74,
§  Westbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75
o   The ramp from eastbound Hopple to 75 SB will remain open during the Work
o   Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
o   It work is not complete by 5 a.m. Saturday, all the aforementioned closures will be open and:
§  a lane closure in each direction on Hopple Street will be installed from Colerain Avenue to the Connector Road,
§  law enforcement officers will be used to control traffic through un-signalized intersection at Hopple Street and the ramp from northbound I-75 to Hopple Street.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane/ramp  closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
