Interstate 75/Mill Creek Expressway project
update
Traffic Pattern Switch
Hamilton County (Wednesday,
April 24, 2019) - In order to switch traffic to a new phase of
construction, the following restrictions will be in place next week:
Various lane closures
on north and south Interstate 75 between Paddock Road and Towne Street nightly
from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday, April 28 through Wednesday morning, May 1.
Traffic will be maintained.
In addition, the north
I-75 ramp to Paddock Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m.
Monday. Also,the ramp from Paddock Road to south I-75 will be closed from 10
p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday. Law enforcement officers will maintain
traffic.
Once work is complete
Wednesday morning, all north and south lanes within this work zone will be
shifted to the inside/median and will remain in this pattern until
approximately the end of June, 2019.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
