Interstate 75/Thru the Valley Project Update
Hamilton County (Thursday,
July 18, 2019) - The Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project requires
the following restrictions next week for final Shepherd Lane bridge demolition:
Monday, July 22 through Saturday morning, July 27 - Various lane closures on south I-75 from Sharon Road to
Wyoming Avenue nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
In addition, short-term
full closures on south I-75 at the Shepherd Lane bridge nightly between
midnight and 4 a.m. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Advance warning signs
and portable changeable message signs will be posted. All work is
contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
