Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project update
Hamilton County (Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017) - Various short-term full
closures (15 minutes) on north and southbound Interstate 75, and the collector
roads at Glendale Milford Road, between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. each night
Tuesday, Sept. 12 through Saturday, Sept. 16.
Also, short-term full
closures (15 minutes) on southbound I-75 at the Lockland Split to remove an
overhead truss between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. each night Wednesday, Sept. 13
through Saturday, Sept. 16.
In addition, traffic
will be shifted onto the new pavement on the ramp from Glendale Milford Road to
the southbound I-75 collector road. Traffic will also be shifted onto temporary
pavement on southbound I-75, south of Shepherd Avenue for approximately one
year. THREE SOUTHBOUND I-75 LANES WILL HAVE REDUCED WIDTHS OF 11 FEET FOR
DURATION OF THIS SHIFT.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
