Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project update

Hamilton County (Wednesday, July 3, 2019) - The Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project requires the following restrictions in order to shift north I-75 traffic to the east side of the interstate from just north of Davis Street (Exit 12) to Sharon Road (Exit 15).
Monday, July 8 through Saturday morning, July 20 - Various lane closures on north I-75 from Davis Street to just north of Sharon Road nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following day.
Monday, July 8 - Close the ramp from Glendale Milford Road (Exit 14) to north I-75 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 9. The detour uses Glendale Milford to south I-75 to Galbraith Road (Exit 10) to north I-75.
Wednesday, July 10 - Close the ramp from north I-75 to Glendale Milford Road from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, July 11. The detour uses north I-75 to Sharon Road to south I-75 to Glendale Milford Road. The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday with the entrance relocated approximately 1.5 miles to the south.
  • By 5 a.m. Thursday, the far right lane of north I-75 will be the only northbound access to Shepherd Avenue and Glendale Milford Road; this will be Exit 13. Access to north I-75 will also be available from this lane.
Friday, July 12 - Various lane closures on north I-75 south of Davis Street from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday, July 13.
  • By 6 a.m. Saturday, all north I-75 traffic will be shifted to the east for the next phase of this project.
Advance warning signs and portable changeable message signs will be posted. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
