Interstate 75/Thru the Valley Project Update

Hamilton County (Friday, July 13, 2018) - The Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project requires the following restrictions:
Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20 - Close the south I-75 ramp and south collector to Glendale-Milford Road nightly from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. The detour uses south I-75 to Galbraith Road to north I-75 to Glendale-Milford Road. 
Saturday, July 14 - Traffic on Shepherd Avenue over I-75 will be shifted from the south side to the north side of the road. 
Also, the new ramp from Shepherd Avenue to north I-75, on the north side of Shepherd, will be open to traffic. The existing ramp from Shepherd Avenue to north I-75, on the south side of Shepherd, will be closed.
  • East Shepherd Avenue traffic approaching from the west side of I-75 will not be able use the new ramp and must follow the south I-75 detour to Galbraith and back to north I-75.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
