Interstate 75/Thru the Valley Project Update
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 5, 2018) - The Interstate 75/Thru
the Valley project requires the following restrictions:
Sunday, Oct. 7 through
Monday, Oct. 15 - Continued various lane
closures on north and south I-75 between Sharon Road and Davis Street nightly
from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. through Monday morning, Oct. 15. Traffic will be
maintained.
In addition, the
following ramp closures will be in place throughout the week, with only one
ramp closed at a time, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.:
- Close the ramp from Shepherd Avenue to north I-75. The
detour uses south I-75 to Galbraith Road to north I-75.
- Close the ramp from north I-75 to Shepherd Avenue. The
detour uses north I-75 to Sharon Road to south I-75 to Shepherd Avenue.
- Close the ramp from north I-75 to Glendale Milford
Road. The detour uses north I-75 to Sharon Road to south I-75 to Glendale
Milford Road.
- Close the ramp from Glendale Milford Road to north
I-75. The detour uses south I-75 to Shepherd Avenue to north I-75.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
