Interstate 75/Western Hills Viaduct ramp closure
and shoulder work scheduled next week
Hamilton County (Thursday, March 8, 2018) - As a reminder, the ramp from
southbound Interstate 75 to Harrison Avenue (Exit 2B) will be closed from 10
p.m. Sunday, March 11 until 5 a.m. Monday, March 12 to set portable concrete
barrier wall.
Traffic will be
detoured using the Western Avenue/Liberty Street ramp (Exit 2A), Findlay
Street, Dalton Avenue and Spring Grove Avenue.
In addition beginning on Monday night, March 12 crews will be working on the shoulder of the Western Hills
Viaduct, behind the barriers, starting at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly through Wednesday morning, April 11. Traffic will be
maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
