Lane Closures Scheduled for Jeremiah Morrow Bridge Inspections
Warren County (Friday, July 22, 2011) – Inspection of the Jeremiah Morrow spans on Interstate 71continues
the week of July 25, utilizing snooper equipment.
To accommodate this work, various lane closures will be in place each day of the week, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through 2 p.m. On Wednesday, July 27, and Thursday, July 28, a single lane closure will be in place on northbound I-71. On Friday, July 29, a single lane closure will be in place on southbound I-71. Traffic delays may be significant and motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
