Martin Luther King Drive lane reductions

Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 13, 2013) - As work continues on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, the following traffic phase will be in place.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, traffic on Martin Luther King Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning 150 feet east of Clifton Colony Drive for approximately 800 feet.  Traffic will remain in this configuration for six weeks.

On-street parking will be restricted from Clifton Colony Drive to 616 Martin Luther King Drive on both sides of the street.  ‘No Parking’ signs will be erected along this location.

Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming construction.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
