Lane closures
scheduled for I-275, SR 126
Hamilton County (Wednesday, May
28, 2014)
– Highway lighting work will require a rolling lane closure on Interstate 275
and State Route 126 Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29.
The lane closure will be in place from
10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The left lane of I-275 will be closed between SR
747 and I-71 with work beginning on the eastbound side before proceeding west.
The right lane of SR 126 between Reading
Road and I-75 will be closed, beginning on the westbound side before proceeding
east. Law enforcement officials will assist with traffic control. This
work, which will involve cleaning highway lighting luminaires located on
barrier wall in the median, is weather permitting.
Arrow
boards and signs will be in place prior to these work zones to alert motorists
of the closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
