Lane Closures Slated for Southbound Interstate 75

Closures to accommodate paving operations

Butler/Warren (Friday, November 5, 2010)  - Paving operations will require various lane closures on southbound Interstate 75 from State Route 122 to just beyond SR 63, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8 and continuing throughout the day. As two lanes of traffic will be maintained, delays could be lengthy. Motorists may want to take an alternate route.

With completion of work by the end of the day, southbound I-75 traffic will be shifted to the left onto the newly paved lanes.

Through the remainder of the week, daytime asphalt paving operations will continue on the far right lane, shoulders and ramps at SR 63.

Message boards will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the lane closures.

ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
