Interstate 75/Hopple Street project update
 
Hamilton County (Wednesday, April 12, 2017) – Work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following restrictions:
 
Wednesday, April 12:  Left lane closures on southbound I-75 from I-74 to south of the Western hills Viaduct beginning at 7 p.m. each night, until 6 a.m. the following day.
 
Thursday, April 13, Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18: Close the ramp from westbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75; the ramp from eastbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75 and the ramp from southbound I-75 to Harrison Avenue, along with a right lane closure on southbound I-75 from north of Hopple Street to south of the Western Hills Viaduct from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
 
In addition, double left lane closure on southbound I-75 from Hopple Street past the Liberty Street/Ezzard Charles Drive and Freeman Avenue exits, from 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 until 6 a.m. Thursday, April 13. The exit ramps will remain open and traffic will be maintained.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane and ramp  closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
