New signals at Duck Creek Connector to be
activated Thursday, Dec. 7
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017) - Various lane closures on east and
west Madison Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 and Friday, Dec. 8
to activate the new traffic signal at the Medpace Way intersection. During
this time, the signal will be turned off and traffic maintained by local law
enforcement officers.
Once complete, one lane
of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Madison Road between Red
Bank Expressway and Anderson Place for removal of the old signal supports.
Also, various lane closures
on north and south Red Bank Expressway from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11
to activate the new traffic signal at the Duck Creek Road intersection. During
this time, the signal will be turned off and traffic maintained by local law
enforcement officers.
Once complete, one lane
of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Red Bank Expressway between
Interstate 71 and Madison Avenue for removal of the old signal supports.
Following the
activation of these new signals, the Duck Creek Connector will be open to
traffic.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
