New traffic pattern in place on SR 28 at I-275

New traffic pattern in place on SR 28 at I-275

Clermont County (Thursday, Nov. 28, 2012) – Motorists are reminded that westbound State Route 28 traffic wishing to access southbound I-275 must use the newly opened on-ramp  located on the right side of SR 28. Left turns from westbound SR 28 to southbound I-275 are now prohibited.

The new ramp is part of the intersection improvement project on SR 28 at I-275, and was built to ease congestion and reduce rear-end crashes involving drivers waiting to turn left from SR 28 to I-275. Drivers are urged to be attentive and to comply with the new traffic pattern for this intersection.

Project work continues into next year with construction on the SR 28 bridge over I-275. Completion is set for October 2013.
