New ramp at I-75/SR122 interchange now open

(Friday, Dec. 10, 2010) – As part of the Interstate 75 widening and reconstruction project, a new ramp at the State Route 122 interchange is now open to the traveling public.
The ramp from eastbound SR 122 to northbound I-75 is open. Motorists traveling on eastbound SR 122 can access the new ramp to northbound I-75 at the second right from Towne Blvd. A changeable message sign is in place to alert motorists to the location of the new ramp’s access.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
