North and South I-75 Lane Restrictions - Backups Expected

Hamilton County (Friday, Dec. 1, 2017) - Pavement work requires various lane restrictions on north and south Interstate 75 between State Route 562/Norwood Lateral and Mitchell Ave. until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3, single lane closure on south I-75 between SR 562 and Mitchell Ave. from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Also on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2 north and south I-75 will each have two lanes closed (only one lane open) nightly from 9 p.m. until 8 a.m. The double lane closures will again occur Sunday, Dec. 3 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4.
Traffic backups are likely to occur during the weekend on south I-75 from I-275 to SR 562. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes which include I-275 or SR 126/Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway or SR 562 to I-71.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
