ODOT District 8 Hosts Open House/Fall Job Fair

LEBANON (Monday, May 6, 2019) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 8 is hosting an Open House/Fall Job Fair as part of In-Demand Jobs Week, sharing job opportunities with students and adults in southwest Ohio.
State agencies across the Buckeye State are featuring careers available in Ohio and sharing job openings with those interested.
“The purpose of In-Demand Jobs Week is to highlight the great careers available in Ohio and how to get the education and training you need to get started,” said Office of Workforce Transformation and Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted. “Businesses need talent and if you have the right kind of skills and training it can lead to a rewarding career. We want to help Ohioans, young and old, build the skills they need to earn more and support a good quality of life for themselves and their families.”
The Open House will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at the Hamilton County Garage located at 1400 East Seymour Avenue, Cincinnati.
ODOT District 8 personnel will also participate at a job fair being hosted by Wright State  University at its Double Bowler Building, 2455 Executive Park Boulevard, Fairborn from 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday, May 8.
During these events, ODOT personnel will share job openings and assist attendees with the application process, as well as show students all that a career at ODOT has to offer.
