Ohio Roadway Cleanup March 26

ODOT District 8 Gears Up to Keep Ohio Beautiful

Annual State Roadway Clean Up Scheduled Saturday, March 26

Lebanon (Friday, March 11, 2011) -  With the arrival of warm weather, the Ohio Department of Transportation, in coordination with  Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, is primed to clean up our highways during the State Roadway Cleanup.

In order to maximize this effort, Cincinnati area residents encouraged to be part of the solution by participating in the 2011 State Roadway Cleanup. Thanks to the new partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, the first 500 volunteers will receive a free admission ticket to the zoo. Volunteers must be signed up prior to the event and at least 16 years old with a parent or guardian present if under 18.

For more information about the State Roadway Cleanup in District 8, visit http://transportation.ohio.gov/districts/D08/StateRoadwayCleanup.aspx or www.KeepCincinatiBeautiful.org You can sign up to be a part of the cleanup by completing the registration form online.

Please join hundreds of volunteers around the Buckeye State as we remove litter along our roadways!
