Open house for SR 32 Eastgate area improvements study
Public invited to provide input at Oct. 6 session
Clermont County (Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010) – An open house concerning the State
Route 32 Eastgate area improvements study is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the Union Twp. Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road, Cincinnati.
The open house will introduce the purpose of the study which will examine improvements to SR 32 from Eastgate Boulevard to Olive Branch-Stonelick Road. In addition, the open house will solicit input from the public on issues that should be considered before alternatives are developed.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the open house to ask questions and view exhibits. No formal presentation will be given. Personnel from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Clermont County Transportation Improvement District and TransSystems will be available to discuss the study, listen to comments from the public and answer questions.
The goals of the SR 32 Eastgate area improvement study are to reduce congestion and improve safety, consistent with local transportation and economic goals. The project will coordinate with regional plans regarding rail, public transit, community development and environmental restoration.
