Overnight
closure of Fields-Ertel Road scheduled
Warren County (Tuesday, May
19, 2015) – Bridge work will require closure of
Fields-Ertel Road between Mason-Montgomery Road and Escort Drive from 12:01
until 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. The posted
detour is Mason-Montgomery Road to Escort Drive to Fields-Ertel Road. Work is
weather dependent.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, pavement work
will require closure of the right lane of northbound Interstate 71 at mile
marker 38, which is two miles north of the Wilmington Road exit. The lane will
reopen to traffic by 7 a.m. Friday, May 22.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be
in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone.
