Pavement work requires
Interstate 71 lane closures
Warren County (Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015) –
Pavement work requires lane closures on Interstate 71 at Mason-Montgomery and
Fields-Ertel roads this week.
The left lane of northbound I-71
will be closed at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 until 6 a.m. the following day. The
left lane of northbound I-71 will be closed at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, with a
double lane closure at 11 p.m. and all lanes reopen by 6 a.m. the following
day.
In addition, the right lane of
southbound I-71 will be closed at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, with a double lane
closure at 11 p.m. and all lanes reopen by 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained during these lane
closures.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place
prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction
workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce
their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
