Pavement work requires U.S. 50 ramp closure and State Route 561 lane closures

Hamilton County (Friday, Aug. 21, 2015) – Pavement work will require ramp and lane closures starting next week.

Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, the ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 to Beechmont Avenue will be closed until noon.

Also beginning Monday, there will be various lane closures in each direction of SR 561 (Linwood Avenue) between U.S. 50 and Observatory Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each week day. These lane closures will be in effect for approximately 10 days and traffic on SR 561 will be maintained. Expect delays in this area.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming ramp and lane closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
