The
bridge work on Pippin Road, which was scheduled to close on Friday, June 5, has
been cancelled until further notice.
Struble Road closure postponed;
Pippin Road closure to begin June 5
Hamilton
County (Friday,
May 29, 2015) –
Due to utility relocation issues, the closure of the I-275/Struble Road
overpass has been postponed.
Instead,
bridge work will require a 21-day closure of Pippin Road just north of Civic
Center Drive, beginning Friday, June 5. Detour for northbound Pippin is north
on Civic Center Drive to north on Hamilton Avenue (U.S. 127) to west on Houston
Road to Pippin. Southbound Pippin traffic will use the same detour in reverse.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming road closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
