Project closes State Route 131 westbound lane
Clermont County (Friday, May 31, 2013) – A Clermont County Transportation Improvement District project to improve the intersection of U.S. 50/State Route 131/Milford Parkway in Milford will require closure of the westbound lane of SR 131.
The closure will be in place Monday, June 3 through Friday, Aug. 23 from U.S. 50 to approximately 200 feet west of Double Gate Drive. The closure affects the westbound lane only with the eastbound lane remaining open to through traffic.
Traffic will be detoured west on U.S. 50 to east on SR 28 to south on Wolfpen-Pleasant Hill Road, to SR 131.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure and detour.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
