Public comment invited on SR 32 Eastgate improvement study

ODOT invites public comment to SR 32 Eastgate improvement study
 
Warren County (Monday, Sept. 26, 2011) – A public open house regarding the State Route 32 Eastgate Area Improvements Study is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 28.
 
The open house will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road, Cincinnati. The public is invited to visit anytime during the open house to ask questions and view exhibits concerning the study which considers the area of State Route 32 from Eastgate Blvd. to Olive Branch-Stonelick Road. No formal presentation will be given.
 
Representatives from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Clermont County Transportation Improvement District and TranSystems will be on hand to discuss the study, listen to the public’s comments and answer questions.
 
The goals of the SR 32 Eastgate Area Improvements are to reduce congestion and improve safety, consistent with local transportation and economic goals. The project will coordinate with regional plans regarding rail, public transit, community development and environmental restoration.
