information meeting scheduled for
Elmore/Central
Parkway Connector
Hamilton
County (Thursday,
July 16, 2015) – The
Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the City of Cincinnati will host a
public information meeting next week to display the final alternative alignment
of the proposed Elmore to Central Parkway Connector.
ODOT and the City of Cincinnati are proceeding with the
environmental analysis and engineering design for the new connector that will
tie Elmore Street to Central Parkway over Spring Grove, railroad mainline
tracks, the Mill Creek and I-75. This connector will provide improved
connectivity from western Hamilton County to the higher education and
employment centers in the Mill Creek Valley and Uptown, as well as enhance
redevelopment opportunities in the South Cumminsville community.

The meeting
will provide attendees an opportunity to review and comment on the planned
project. The meeting will be held in an “open house” format, with project team
representatives available to take comments and answer questions.
The
open house style format offers participants the opportunity to attend the
meeting at their convenience between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., review displays
illustrating the project and discuss the project individually with project team
representatives. A formal presentation will not be made at this meeting.
