REMINDER

Interstate 71 Rest Areas near Jeremiah Morrow Bridge to Close Temporarily until the end of January 2019

Warren County (Friday, April 27, 2018) - Both the north and south Interstate 71 rest areas near the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge will be closed beginning at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, May 1 and will not reopen to the public until the end of January, 2019.
The next available rest area on north I-71 is located at Exit 67, after the Washington Courthouse/Xenia/U.S. 35 exit (65).
The next available rest area on south I-71/I-75 is located at Exit 181 in Florence, Kentucky.
The temporary closures are to enable construction of new rest area facilities and parking lots at the same locations on both sides of I-71.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place three weeks prior to closure to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
